Slogans on Hindi Diwas: Hindi Diwas is observed annually on the 14th of September in all the Hindi speaking states of India. This day is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages of India.

Hindi was adopted as one the official languages of India. The Constituent Assembly of India took this step because of the efforts of stalwarts like Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Seth Govind Das, and Maithili Sharan Gupt.

Hence, on the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, on the 14th of September 1949, their efforts resulted in the Hindi becoming an official language of India. This step came into effect from the 26th of January 1950. Hindi became one of the official languages under Article 343 of the Indian Constitution.

Schools and other institutions celebrate Hindi Diwas. Pranab Mukherjee, had distributed awards in different categories for the excellence in fields related to Hindi at a function in Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. Ministries, Departments, PSUs and Banks received Rajbhasha awards.

The Ministry of Home Affairs had changed the names of two awards to Indira Gandhi Rajbhasha Puraskar to commemorate the Hindi Diwas. There are many quizzes and competitions held in the schools and colleges to make children aware of the importance of Hindi Diwas.

Indians use Hindi as a standard communication method across the country. The script, language, and history behind it is recalled and taught to the younger generation to keep the language and the legacy alive.
