Paragraph on Tiger – 150 Words for Classes 4 and 5 Children

Tigers are animals that live in the wild. They are hungry animals that prey on smaller organisms. Their food usually consists of deer and boars. These animals grow up fast and attain maturity at around 3 or 4 years. They can live for up to 20 years in the wild. Males of the species are heavier than their female counterparts as they have different body functions. The young ones of tigers are known as cubs and require special care at the time of their birth. This is the reason why most of the cubs don’t survive in the wild. They are endangered species, and their number has been declining for the past decade. Efforts are being made to conserve these mammals, and it has seen some improvement in countries like Nepal, India, Russia, and China. These animals are ferocious yet sensitive, so they must remain in the wild without any human interference.

Paragraph on Tiger – 200 Words for Classes 6, 7, 8 Students

Tigers occupy the highest level of the ecological pyramid and prey on the lower organisms. They have a hunt-and-eat pattern of eating and have excellent hunting skills. Their hind legs have been specially built to give them super-fast speeds in the blink of an eye. They can efficiently run and hunt down food in the wild. Off late, the tiger population has been dwindling because of illegal activities by man. Some poachers lay traps for tigers and kill them for their skin, teeth, and hair.

These illegal activities have led to a decrease in the tiger population on earth. It is time for reforms in our actions. We must all work towards conserving this endangered service, as it will take a lot of time. We have lost a significant share of tigers from our ecosystem, and as of now, only 3900 species of tigers remain in the wild. That is a reason to worry because if this trend continues, we might lose all the tigers from the face of the earth. We need to act responsibly and save tigers from the brink of extinction. Extinction will lead to disruption of the global ecosystem and can have disastrous effects on wildlife.

Paragraph on Tiger – 250 Words for Classes 9, 10, 11, 12 and Competitive Exams Students

The plight of tigers has sounded across the world for many years, but we have heard it only recently. Tigers are animals of the wild that are carnivorous and feed on the lower-level organisms. Being on top of the food chain, they were thought to be invincible. But something changed that; something as simple yet complex as humans. Humans, solely are responsible for causing this near extinction of tigers from the earth. They have the scientific name of Panthera tigris Tigris. It has many subspecies too, and each subspecies has its unique set of characters. The most common character is to fast at an intense speed. The limited number of tigers found in the wild has been dwindling.

Tigers are hunting animals, and a lack of adequate trees in the forest has driven out deer and other organisms from forests. This has led to the loss of food for the tigers and has resulted in their death. Most of the tigers die as a result of extreme starvation when they have gone on for nearly a week without food. The situation is grave, and they have been declared as endangered species by most environmental organizations. There have been efforts to save the tiger population by breeding them off-site and caring for them in specialized houses. These tigers are somewhat prone to diseases, but this is a really helpful process and has seen some improvement in the tiger population in some countries.
