10 Lines on Son River: The Son or the Sone River is a principal tributary of the Ganges. It is a multi-state river that flows its way through Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and makes it way up past Manpur and then the Northeast.

The Son River originates from Amarkantak region of Madhya Pradesh, makes its way through Bihar and, finally, gets merged into the Ganges. The River is highly unsuitable for navigation as it experiences seasonal flow.
