10 Lines on Battle of Chandawar: The Battle of Chandawar is the second significant victory of Muhammad of Ghor in 1914. It is a result of the first and second battle of Taraori. This victorious battle was fought on the bank of river Jumna, at Chandler in Northern India between Jaichandra and Muhammad Ghori.

The battle was indignantly contested, and the Gahadavalas were close to victory until Jaichandra was unexpectedly hit by an arrow in the eye and died, throwing this entire army into chaos and confusion. Muhammad Ghori used Jaichandra’s death as an opportunity to defeat and attain victory over the Gahadavala army.

The battle of Chandawar gave victory to Muhammad Gori and control of much of northern India; however, in 1205, this victory led to a severe defeat at Andkhui.
